Has this idea of workplace culture been a nebulous concept ~ not well defined however you know it’s part of your competitive advantage?
If you answered ‘yes’ to any one of these questions ~ you may want to investigate what has contributed most greatly to the strength of your culture. Some business leaders believe ‘culture’ just happens. In early stages of an organization’s development this statement of ‘culture just happens’ may be true however the question eventually becomes ~ how do we sustain the healthy workplace culture we’ve created ~ as we grow?
I work with organizations to help define the current state of workplace culture and capture the essence of what makes a culture healthy, inclusive and vibrant. The process we use is both top-down and bottom-up. Working with executive teams and employee populations we collectively identify the current state of an organization’s culture, what makes culture healthy and elements needed to ensure the sustainable success of the organization. Once we capture the essence of the culture we want to nurture we develop a clear and concise Manifesto. Various organizations have created Culture Manifestos as external branding tools, and strong internal messaging to guide beliefs and behaviours within their organizations. Here are few examples Netflix, Hootsuite, Hubspot and PeopleLead.
Once we have co-created a unique Manifesto for your organization we will identify simple and effective ways to integrate the articulated beliefs, values, language and behaviours into your daily interactions and business practices. Your Manifesto remains aspirational until you live it in the decisions you make, the actions you take and the words you say.
